Hypnotherapy for Self-esteem is very safe and cost-effective. In order to understand how low self-esteem can be treated with Hypnotherapy, let’s first look at how low self-esteem and lack of confidence affects people.
Self-esteem relates to how we think and feel about ourselves and how much value we think we have as a person.
Your self-esteem can affect how you view your achievements and setbacks. So, if you have low self-esteem you will more than likely focus on what you believe to be your failures rather than your successes.
People with low self-esteem ignore their achievements and the positive things about themselves and criticise themselves even when there is no reason to. To sum up, they tend to accentuate the negative.
For a lot of people, self-esteem can vary in different situations. All of us have different characteristics, things that determine how we see ourselves. The way you feel about one characteristic can differ to how we feel about another. For example you may like your sense of humour but dislike how you respond in a crisis. However, it’s not unusual to have low self-esteem about every part of your life and your characteristics.
There are many; however, the main cause comes from negative conditioning from a parent, elder sibling or even a teacher. For example if a child is told often enough that he or she is bad at Math then that child will become inept at that subject.
Also very common are physical or verbal bullying, illness or disability, physical or mental health problems, abuse or mistreatment, relationship problems, feelings about the way you look, difficulties with work or study, and experiencing stigma or racial discrimination.
If you have low self esteem you may find yourself hiding away from social situations, avoiding trying new things and never try things you find challenging.
In other words avoiding things that are out of your comfort zone.
This can backfire on you because it reinforces your underlying self-doubts and fears. It teaches you the unhelpful rule that the only way to cope is by avoiding things.
Living with low self-esteem can harm your mental health and can cause low moods and anxiety. You may also develop bad habits such as smoking, overeating or a tendency to drink alcohol.
To boost your self-esteem, it’s helpful to identify your negative beliefs about yourself and understand where it’s come from.then face them. You may tell yourself that you’re too stupid to apply for a new job or nobody cares about you. Make a note of these negative thoughts.
Next begin to think about the positive things about yourself such as “I’m thoughtful”, “I’m a good cook” etc. Also think about the good things your friends and family say about you.
Yes it definitely can. By accessing the sub conscious mind it can delete all the negative beliefs that you have about yourself. It can also lessen and finally overcome the effect of any negative events that happened when you were growing up and help you to develop new ways of seeing yourself at any age,
